Two Kingdoms

There has been a struggle ever since the beginning of time. It is the struggle between two rival kingdoms. There is the one true King, and then there is the pretender. The one who would try to overthrow the rightful King and take his place. He has set-up a mock kingdom, that closely resembles the true Kingdom when you glance at it from a distance. But when you explore the truths that these kingdoms are established on, you will find that they are not at all equals.

You see the kingdom of Satan - displayed through the several kingdoms of men are a farce. Their power although allowed by God comes from His arch-enemy. He has counterfeited the Kingdom of God to gain the appearance of desirable or even godly - but in fact it is anything but. You see the foundations of this kingdom are established upon an age old lie. The lie that was embraced by Satan and his minions. The lie that he whispered to Eve in the cool of the garden.

And upon that lie men have built kingdoms unto themselves, because they have desired power, authority, glory and wealth untold. They have lied, manipulated, extorted, coveted, stolen, prostituted themselves many times under the guise of God's blessing and approval. They have committed all of these treacheries and transgressions in some instances in His Holy Name and have committed blasphemy and treason against the one true King.

The King will not always withhold justice. No He will come and vindicate and avenge His good name. He has come now and is at war with this rival kingdom for the lives and souls of men and women. Sadly, that is the battlefield and the domain that is at stake. People.

But men have aligned themselves in opposition and defiance to God. They have embraced the lie in exchange for the truth. They have unwittingly prostituted themselves before a just God right into the hands of a cruel master. A master who has no regard for their welfare or well-being. A master who himself is deluded by the power of the lie, and cannot escape its control.

Do not be deceived. We are at war. And the kingdoms of men are passing away with all of their glory. Their days are numbered, and the end is drawing nigh. You see the battle is already over. The fate of the two kingdoms in this eternal conflict have already been decided, by the sacrifice of one man. One man who was God in the flesh, who gave up His very own life that He might become the chief cornerstone for this glorious Kingdom, that had long lay dormant within the minds of men. A dream that seemed to fade into oblivion, but in reality never lost any ground in the battle. But men could not see the
Kingdom. For it is not an external kingdom of lands, houses or money. It is a kingdom of power and authority, whose King has never suffered defeat in battle. Whose King is just and good. Whose King was willing to lay down His very own life for the sake of His subjects. Whose King declared His subjects to no longer be mere slaves - but called them His friends.

The King has come. His Kingdom has been firmly established since the foundations of the world, and He extends His invitation to all who will listen:

Matthew 11:28-30 - 28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

Isaiah 55:1-3 - 1 “Ho! Everyone who thirsts, Come to the waters; And you who have no money, Come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. 2 Why do you spend money for what is not bread, and your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, and let your soul delight itself in abundance. 3 Incline your ear, and come to Me. Hear, and your soul shall live; And I will make an everlasting covenant with you—The sure mercies of David.
